What is this?
This site packs your handle into a rectangle, minimizing area with two constraints:
- each letter's center of mass goes left to right
- each letter rotates at most 90°
How does the algorithm work?
Letters are randomly initialized. Then the box is shrunk while jittering the letters, while resolving overlaps and constraint violations. This repeats until the packing is frozen.
